A question for the goddess

Yo KC, I was trying to remember all the words to one of the finest examples of songwriting ever, and I get stuck...will you help me? Here's what I remember:

....and that's all I remember. I know there's more and it's driving me crazy!

My dog is currently looking at his reflection in the fire place glass doors. He is curious and quiet. He keeps tilting his head and raising his ears. It's almost like I can hear him thinking... He's thinking ....'what the hell'?

Anyway, saw the soon to be ex husband this weekend. He came over Saturday and had some dinner and a glass of wine. I know, odd eh? I think he's great, I just don't want to be married to him. He's hot too, dammit. Dammit all to hell. I enjoyed his company, we had some laughs and he went home. Maybe we should have just been friends from the get go, never even got married. Although I've read somewhere that when people decide to divorce or break up or whatever, they can all of a sudden get along because there isn't the same expectations. That seems ass-backwards, but life works oddly that way sometimes, I suppose. I decided to get online and check out some cute men on the personals. That was a big mistake. It only underscored how hot and together my soon to be ex is. I talked to this one guy that I actually used to know a long time ago. And he's just as dumb and corny as ever. The old adage of the grass not being greener is just beyond truth. However, I do know that as much as my husband has all these great qualities, I am too big for the kind of relationship he wants, the kind of woman he wants. I am not perfect, but I am complete and free.

This time it's for keeps

That's it; I'm done. Tuesday, March 27th, I will wake up a free woman. I will eat some breakfast, have some coffee, and...not smoke. Ever again. They say it takes a person 8 times to quit for good. I think I'm on my 88th time, so it's a done deal. I know it's going to be excruciatingly difficult (at least when my mind gets in the way), but mark my words: I ain't gonna ever smoke again, over nothin'. Period. I registered at QuitNet, I bought the patches, and all that's left now is the 4 more days of being a retard before I'm done. Jeez, what a long strange trip it's been.

All by myself

I am all by myself today, in my house. (Thus the title)...unless you count the 2 furry boys sleeping on the couch.
This never happens. Well, except for today.
What does a girl do with a 4-hour block of time all alone? Yep, she cleans her house. I can see major portions of the floor in our living room now. It's awesome. Then, after that, she sits down and eats a barbecue pork sandwich, on white bread, with mayonnaise.

Look out!

I'm going on a MAJOR diet tomorrow.......no sugar, no dairy, no wheat,no rice, no oats, no dressing, no oils,no nuts, no bananas, no beef, no pork, only a few items from the outline perimeter in the grocery store, nothing from the inside rows, no sauces, no sushi, no friut & grain bars from starbucks, nothing white. Yep, chicken, fish, limited fruits and veggies......that's me...tomorrow. Oh yeah...exercise too. In a few months look out! I'll be the absolute bomb!
